There’s a good deal of money to be obtained DraftKings including a top prize of $25k from the tournament. DK also has lots of Qualifier competitions available this week, in which the last event will pay $50k into 1st for those who did qualify to play inside. I’ll be pursuing those as well since we have never had a $50k 1st place prize and I need it. We didn’t have one fight fall off but we still have a 13-fight card. This is a great card to build your bankroll for the first Sunday of NFL so it’s possible to pursue that $1M.
Money Game play of the week — Zabit Magomedsharipov ($9,400)
Zabit will be super chalky in tournament. Everyone who’d Shevchenko in their lineup will switch to Zabit and he will likely be the most owned fighter around the slate. In cash games we don’t really care about ownership as much and I am going to be starting my money team with Zabit. I believe he’s the easiest triumph on the card and he’s the highest ceiling too. I believe if you want to get sneaky and not use Zabit, the GPPs are the place to do this. Lock him in money and take the easy triumph. Then you only need to learn about 3 additional wins and you should possess a winning cash group.
GPP play of the week — Alex White ($8,600)
I believe Jim Miller is close to the end of his career and I am thinking this is going to be the last time we see him at the UFC. I believe he is going to be handed his 5th loss in a row and I am guessing it is going to be through knockout. I think Alex White is going to be too strong and fast for Jim Miller at this phase in his career and I think he will be able to keep this fight on the feet. With everyone paying up for Zabit in GPPs, Alex White and a few other mid-range favorites might be a fantastic way to go to make your lineups more contrarian and attempt to get 1st place in a GPP like that. I do like White a good bit in this struggle and I think he has 100+ point possible at a $8.6additional salary. He is my GPP drama of the week.
Underdog drama of this week — Diego Sanchez ($7,300)
Diego Sanchez is my underdog play of the week since I don’t think Craig White isn’t any good. Sanchez may be entirely taken, and if this is the situation he can get KO’d early. However, I really don’t think Craig White ought to be -200 contrary to some other UFC fighter. Diego is cheap enough where it allows you to get a number of those higher favorites you enjoy in your lineup, and now I believe he can get a decision win here. He will be my pick to win, but it is not a confident pick and I believe he makes to get a much better GPP play than cash punt.
Fade of this week — Aljamain Sterling ($8,500)
I’m looking forward to seeing this battle and I will be picking Aljo to get the win here. My difficulty is that I don’t think he is very likely to score highly, and maybe not even 10x his wages. I believe a lot of this struggle will happen on the toes and Aljo doesn’t throw at a high enough speed to score well in a match that is spectacular. He’ll have to get this battle to the floor several times and stand up some progress points for him to score highly. I simply don’t see this happening. I believe this is going to be a very close fight and I would rather just pay up for any of the fighters above Sterling. I believe we’d be taking a look at a score around 70-75 DK points with an Aljo choice win here.
